Moon Group and Star Group

Within Gamamusica Ensemble, there are two groups: Moon Group (月組 Tsuki-gumi) and Star Group (星組 Hoshi-gumi). Both groups share a music library and hold regular concerts jointly, but they usually recruit members based on their policies and practice plans. Star group asks for guidance from a trainer several times before a concert.

Once you become a member of Gamamusica Ensemble, you can freely move between two groups or participate in both, up to your circumstances.

Regular practice

Each group, Moon or Star,  has a regular practice day once a week.

Moon Group: Every Monday 19:00-21:00

​Star Group: Every Friday 10:00-13:00

​Practice Location: Tsukuba City Takezono Community Center Music Room.

​Regular concert

​In principle, we hold regular concerts twice a year. The contents are ensembles of Moon and Star groups, an ensemble by all the performers, and several small ensembles consisting of volunteer groups. For more information, please refer to the concert page.
